Hello! My name is Tabatha Sisson. I’m a Grand Rapids, MI based self- taught mixed media artist. Originally starting out in solely resin based work back in 2019 I quickly discovered my love for different mediums and the challenges of learning to master them. Working mostly with alcohol inks, all type of acrylics, spray paints, foils and everything glitter. Suddenly dabbling in making only coasters, trinkets and smaller alcohol ink paintings wasn’t enough. I needed to go bigger and in so creating my own style of wall decor/home art.
Starting with just a color palette in mind and some music in my ears I started applying what I had learned from each medium and meshing different techniques together to create that unique one of a kind T.S. Studios signature style paintings. Each one with its own story. Each one with a multitude of layers and emotion. And most of them inspired by my favorite things.
My hope as an artist is that my pieces invoke a sense of connection, warmth and emotions with my audience.
